Terms and Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

We hope that you enjoy your stay here at Wern Newydd Touring Park.

We would however respectfully like to emphasise some of our Park Terms and Conditions for your benefit and ours.

  1. We are open from 1st March till 31st October.
  2. Please observe a 5 mph speed limit within the Park. Always be aware of children, pedestrians and cyclists.
  3. We cater for families and couples, but not groups.
  4. Any person not abiding by our terms and conditions or any regulations exhibited by management we will respectfully request them to leave.
  5. All touring caravans and campers must report to the reception or house on arrival.
  6. If we have not been informed and the reservation has not been taken up by 11.00am following the due date of arrival, the pitch will be re let.
  7. Occupancy of touring caravan and camping pitches can be expected after 12.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure.
  8. For touring caravan and camping bookings a deposit of £50.00 per week or part week is required to reserve a pitch, the balance becomes payable not later than 21 days before the commencement of the holiday and failure to do so will be treated as a cancellation and the deposit forfeited.   If the booking is made 21days or less before the holiday is due to start, then it must be paid in full.    
  9. Under no circumstances will refunds be made for cancellations or for pitches vacated prior to the date of departure.
  10. Tents must be pitched no less than 16ft apart.
  11. Environmental ground sheets are compulsory to assist us with keeping the grass in good condition.
  12. No open fires are to be made on site, but portable barbeques are permitted.
  13. All pitches must be kept clean and tidy.
  14. No noisy activity after 10.30 pm.
  15. Caravan, awnings, boats and all equipment must be fully insured by the caravan owner while on the pitch or in storage.     
  16. The proprietor and their employees are absolved from all liability for accidents to caravans, campers, boats, sailing dingy, jet skis and from any responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
  17. The caravan must not be sub-let.
  18. No caravans may be used as a residential dwelling.
  19. Any dogs must be kept on a lead or tethered and under control at all times. All fouling must be cleared up immediately.
  20. Children are the responsibility of their parents or guardians and the use of bicycles, skateboards and other recreational games are entirely at the owner’s risk.
  21. Refuse must be compacted and wrapped before being placed in the green bins.
  22. Emergency fire extinguishers are located in the red fire boxes. In case of fire in your unit, evacuate immediately to a safe distance and raise the alarm.
  23. All electrical connections must be removed when the caravan is not in use.
  24. Electric cables must be unplugged while the caravan is unoccupied. If I fail to comply with this request, management reserve the right to remove the electrical connections in my absence.
  25. Any cables unplugged by staff, the proprietors do not accept liability for loss or damage to property as a result of this.
  26. No unaccompanied teenagers are permitted; there must be at least one adult (over 25 years) parent or guardian present.
  27. Access is not permitted from the Caravan Park to the hills facing the east or through the wooden gate to the north of the Park.
  28. Access is permitted along the public footpath which leads to the village, located to the southern side of the Park.
  29. Access to the boat storage area is permitted to key holders ONLY. The gate to the boat storage area must be kept locked at all times.
  30. The owner reserves the right to refuse the rental of a pitch and to change or amend the regulation or Terms and Conditions of Booking.
  31. Please observe the Countryside Code and all users of the Park are requested to keep to the public footpaths and not trespass on the adjoining land.

The proprietors of Wern Newydd Touring Park do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to any caravan, awning and contents, however caused whilst on the Park.
The security of the caravan, awning and contents is the owner’s responsibility.
